Preview: Seth Rogen's Apple TV+ comedy, 'The Studio,' drops Golden Globes-themed sneak peek
Premiering March 26, the Apple Original series stars Seth Rogen, Catherine O’Hara, Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz, Chase Sui Wonders and more!
Happy Golden Globes day!
Awards season is upon us, and to help get you in the spirit, Apple TV+ Sunday morning released a sneak peek clip of their upcoming comedy series “The Studio,” starring Seth Rogen and Catherine O’Hara.
The clip features Rogen and O’Hara in-character as they arrive at a Golden Globe Awards ceremony in “The Studio,” and the two don’t hold back on the fanfare that has become an awards show red carpet.
Rogen’s character, Matt Remick, questions the identity of nearly everyone on the carpet before learning that, of course, they’re influencers. Because why wouldn’t they be!
Matt’s reply “Fuck is happening to this town?” embodies the entire mindset of his character, and the premise of the series, which sees Rogen playing a newly appointed Hollywood studio head tasked with creating great films in the ever-changing world of franchises, cash grabs, “IP,” “content,” and, yes, influencers.
Not an easy task.
Joining Rogen and O’Hara is a star-studded ensemble cast, including Kathryn Hahn, Ike Barinholtz and Chase Sui Wonders, as well as Bryan Cranston, who will appear as a guest star. The series’ teaser trailer in November also featured shots of Hollywood stars Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Zac Efron, Charlize Theron, Anthony Mackie, and even the legendary Martin Scorsese, while first-look photos add Olivia Wilde, Rebecca Hall, Ron Howard and Steve Buscemi to the mix.
“The Studio” will premiere globally on Apple TV+ on Wednesday, March 26 with the first two episodes, followed by one new episode every Wednesday through May 21.
